Description

Vet visits, coffee runs, the trip to your mum's. DayTrip isn't a bag you stuff your dog into — it's a padded harness they actually wear, with handles on top and a shoulder strap. Walk them in it, then lift them straight up when the pavement gets too hot, the queue gets too long, or they simply announce they're done walking.

Features

  • Harness first, carrier second. Your dog steps into it and it stays on. Clip the included leash to the D-ring and it's a normal walking harness; grab the top handles and it's a carrier. One thing, two jobs.
  • Sandwich sponge padding through the body panels — it cushions their chest and absorbs the bounce when you're strolling with them lifted.
  • Adjustable buckles at the neck and chest, so you dial in a snug fit instead of hoping the size is right.
  • Removable thickened shoulder pad on the crossbody strap, because carrying a 7 kg dog shouldn't leave its autograph on your shoulder.
  • Front pocket for poop bags, treats and keys — the things you'd otherwise hold in your teeth.
  • Soft canvas outer that wipes clean and doesn't crackle when they move. Quiet fabric, happy passenger.
Materials & care

Put it on like a step-in harness: front legs through the openings, then fasten and adjust the buckles so you can fit two fingers under each strap. Let them wear it around the house first — the goal is for it to feel like a harness, not a trap.

Carrying: support the underside with your forearm when you lift, and keep them low and close. Use the handles for short lifts and the shoulder strap for anything longer than a minute.

Cleaning: wipe the canvas with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry fully before folding it away. Don't machine wash — it flattens the sponge padding.

Honest note: this is a light-duty everyday carrier for small dogs, not a hiking pack. It's for the walk-to-the-vet, not the day on the mountain.
